We purchased Ahmay at the 2009 AHR Fall Sale. How could we go wrong with this cross since we already owned his full brother? We did not go wrong!! This Boy is just as exceptional as his younger brother in every way. Ahmay is all about work when harnessed or saddled. He loves to be told he is handsome and to be hugged!
On January 1st, 2010 Bob decided he was going to drive Ahmay who had been standing in his stall for six weeks due to the weather. Ahmay stood like a gentleman while being harnessed. Bob drove him for a short time and then his grandson Coleton, Linda's neice Shelby and nephew Travis climbed into the wagon off they went. Linda's Mom, June also had a ride in the wagon and decided she could drive Ahmay as well! At 70ish (Mom I will not give your exact age), June drove her first horse! A stallion who had been standing for six weeks! WHAT A GOOD BOY!!
